He was born the 2nd of October in 1869 in Parbandar (India) and died the 30th of January in 1948 in New Delhi (India) when he was 78 years old.
Life
He got married at the age of 13 and had 4 children. At the age of 18, he moved to London to study Law in University.
When he finished his studies he came back to India; but he travelled soon to South Africa where his fight against non-violence and social injustice started.
He was killed by an “ultra derechista”. That man was sentenced to die.
Awards
• Novel Peace Prize.

He was quite influencial at that time. He taught us lots of messages. My favoruite quote is "I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent."

Yes I do. In my oppinion Gandhi was a great person because he was fighting against social injustice with no violence methods.
