Mahatma Gandhi

Los alumnos de 6º, investigamos la vida de Mahatma Gandhi. Compartimos con vosotros un resumen de ella que hemos elaborado en grupo y en Inglés.

He was born the 2nd of October in 1869 in Parbandar (India) and died the 30th of January in 1948 in New Delhi (India) when he was 78 years old.

Life

He got married at the age of 13 and had 4 children. At the age of 18, he moved to London to study Law in University.

When he finished his studies he came back to India; but he travelled soon to South Africa where his fight against non-violence and social injustice started.

He was killed by an “ultra derechista”. That man was sentenced to die.

Awards

 • Novel Peace Prize.

School Day of Non-violence and Peace

Hoy celebramos en nuestro colegio el "Día Escolar de la Paz". Queremos compartir con todos los que visitáis nuestro blog, esta foto con la que expresamos lo que para nosotros representa la paz: alegría, esperanza, amistad... unión.

Nuestros alumnos de 6º han elaborado este fantástico mural y lo han colocado en el exterior de su aula para que todos los demás grupos lo vean al pasar.

En él se detallan algunos aspectos importantes de la cultura británica: la gastronomía, el arte y el turismo.
